BACK TO SCHOOL BASH REPORT AND NEED The first BACK TO SCHOOL BASH hosted by Church of the Vine was a true blast!!!  We had 43 children present (25 came from Vacation Bible School and 18 came from promotional ads and personal invitations)... with parents and volunteers we had more than 80 present for the BASH!!!  A special thanks for all of the help provided... WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!!  It was great to see how we worked together from the donation and sorting of school supplies, gift cards, scooping ice cream, leading VBS songs and so much more!!!  We ordered 100 backpacks and more than half were gone after the BASH but we still have a need to fill the remaining 30.... so if you can could you please bring enough supplies (6 or 8 things would give them a great start) to fill another backpack or two.  We will have the empty backpacks on Sunday ready to be filled.  Lisa Robinson is going to help distribute the last of the backpacks to places that will be able to place them in the hands of families with a need for them.  THANKS FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!!!   In Christ,   Sandy
