Faith, Hope & News August 2011   News Updates July 2011 Ø  Thank you to everyone who helped with VBS . . it was a big success, a ton of fun . . 7 professions of Faith . . .40 kids with just as many volunteers!  Ø  Thank you to all the Volunteers who turned out for Old Home Day @ Shurtleff Park in Carver Center. Ø  Thank you to all who have made donations, to the Bread of Life Food Pantry Ministry . . we are able to provide much needed food & supplies to 3 families in our community. . . if you would like to help out, know a family in need of assistance  or would like more info on needed donations please contact  Lisa Robinson @ 508-866-5456 or acountrymile@msn.com Ø  Over the next few months, the Pastors and the Elders are going to be leading our church through a process known as Transformational Church. This journey will include a church assessment that you will all be invited to participate in completing.  We will also enjoy a time of celebrating the unique story and journey of our church in order to understand (Give me understanding that I may live. . .  Psalm 119:144) where we have been and then prepare ourselves for where the Lord is taking us in the years ahead.  As a body we are also going to observe and study some elements found in churches that are experiencing on going transformation.  During this process, it is our desire that you are joining the whole body to discover what God is saying to you personally, but also to us corporately.  We can only do this together if our focus is on the Source of our Transformation:  the Lord Jesus Christ and that is where it all needs to come back to.
